Fees and Services

Charity is available Wednesdays, Thursdays and some Fridays for home visits or appointments in her Norwest office for NDIS Participants and LifeTime care clients. Current wait for an initial appointment is 6-8 weeks.
For private patients, Charity is available fortnightly on a Tuesday at the Children’s Health Hub in Westmead. Please call 133-482 to book an appointment there.
NDIS Participants
Telehealth and Face-to-face ConsultationsA travel fee for home visits will be charged inline with the current NDIS Price Guide of up to 30-minutes at $190/hour.
Initial appointments are expected to take 2-3 hours involving a face-to-face initial consultation up-to 90-minutes, and, if requested, a written initial report including recommendations.
Private Clients
Telehealth & Face-to-face Consultations- Medicare rebates are available for individuals on a Chronic Disease Management plan provided by your GP.
- (full payment is required on the day of consultation and an invoice will be provided to you to enable you to claim the medicare rebate).
- Private health insurance rebates may also be available – check with your provider
Initial and Yearly Consult
60 to 90-minute face-to-face appointment
- Information gathering about you or your child’s medical, social, growth and feeding history.
- A nutrition assessment.
- Nutrition education
- Creation of a nutrition plan together and emailed to you post-appointment
- A report will be provided upon your request and at an additional cost
Follow-Up Consult
Up to 30-minute face-to-face appointment
- Review of you or your child’s medical, social, growth and feeding history.
- Nutrition assessment.
- Additional nutrition education, if required.
- An adjustment of the nutrition plan, if required.
- (No report will be created from this appointment.)
- Reviews over telehealth are provided where necessary.
Extended Follow-Up Consult
Up to 60-minute appointment
- Update review of you or your child’s medical, social, growth and feeding history.
- Nutrition assessment.
- Additional nutrition education, if required.
- Adjustment of the existing nutrition plan.
- (No report will be created from this appointment however the notes can be shared with other health professionals if requested.)
- Applies when a 30-minute review is insufficient due to medical/social/nutritional considerations.
- This appointment type also applies to joint reviews including your speech pathologist.

Charity has extensive experience in the management of Home Enternal Nutrition (tube feeding) and offers assistance in the following.
- Initial and renew of Home Enternal registration.
- Feeding plan created or updated for school and/or respite if required.
Correspondence & Report Writing
Charity offers further support additional to Dietetic Consults.
- Emails & Phone Calls (Free if less than 5-minutes)
- Comprehensive Reports
- Creation of personalised resources
